Full name Bruno Miguel Borges Fernandes but commonly known as Bruno Fernandes. He is a Portuguese professional football player. He plays as a midfielder for the Portugal national football team and the famous English football club or Premier League club Manchester United.

Early Life:

This Portuguese football genius was born into a middle-class family and a football-loving family on 8 September 1994 in Maia, Portugal. His father’s name and his mother’s name are not available at this moment and when we will get his father and mother’s name we will update it. His dad is an ex-footballer who left this career to provide a better life and his mother was very fond of football.

Bruno Fernandes Height, Weight:

Club Career:

Udinese: In the summer of 2013, Fernandes agreed for Udinese Calcio in a co-ownership deal. He then launched his career in Serie A on 3ed November in a0-3 defect against Inter Milan. On 7th December 2013, he scored his first goal against S.S.C Napoli. Fernandes left the club after making 86 appearances and bagging 10 goals.

                               

U.C Sampdoria:

Fernandes next signed on loan to Sampdoria on 16th August 2016. His first league game came on 28 August 2016 with Atlanta and scored his first goal on 26 September 2016 in a 1-2 defect against Cagliari Calcio.

Sporting CP:

Fernandes later made his move to Sporting CP on 27th June 2017 agreeing to a five-year deal with the club. He also scored five goals in his first five Primeira Liga games, in a 5-0 win away with Vitoria de, including a Barca. His first appearances in the UEFA Championship League group stage took place on September 12, 2017.

Manchester United:

On 29 January 2020, English club Manchester United confirmed they had reached an agreement with Sporting for the transfer of Fernandes for a fee reportedly worth up to €80 million (£67.6 million), subject to the player passing a medical and agreeing personal terms. The transfer was officially completed the following day, for an initial fee of around €55 million (£47 million), plus up to €25 million (£21 million) in add-ons and 10% of the profits should United ever sell Fernandes. Fernandes signed a five-and-a-half-year contract.

International Career:

Fernandes has played for Portugal at five levels. Before he played in the senior team (the main Portugal team), he was captain of the under-21 team. Fernandes played for Portugal in the 2016 Summer Olympics. He started every game, as Portuagl reached the quarter-finals. When he played in Italy, he did not play for Portugal. He was called up for the national team on 28 August 2017. He took the place of Pizzi because he was injured.

This was for World Cup qualifiers against the Faroe Islands and Hungary. Fernandes won his first full cap on 10 November 2017. He came on in place of Manuel Fernands  for the last 34 minutes of the 3–0 friendly win over Saudi Arabia. Fernando Santos chose him in his team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. He scored his first national team goal on 7 June. This was a header in the last warm-up match before the tournament, a 3–0 win against Algeria at the Estadio da Luz. Fernandes’ first World Cup game was on 15 June 2018. He played 66 minutes in a 3-3 group stage draw against Spain.

Style of play

Fernandes is an attacking midfielder. He is a direct, energetic playmaker. He can take on defenders and also set the rhythm of play. Because he is direct, Fernandes sometimes takes risks. He tries difficult passes to create chances of scoring goals. He often presses the opposition quickly after losing possession. In addition, he is a a good free-kick taker. He likes to shoot from outside the penalty area. His movement off the ball is also important, as he looks to find space to create chances. Fernandes can also play in a deeper central midfield role, or as a second striker.

Personal Life:

Talking about his private life, his personal life is as perfect as his career. Fernandes is a married man. He married a gorgeous lady named Ana Pinho in 2015. The marriage pair is blessed with a daughter named Matilde who was born on January 31st, 2017. Since their marriage, Fernandes along with his family is living happily without any conflict or rumours of divorce. Apart from all, he is also fond of dogs and has his pet dog.
