About three years ago we shared a post on our blog about how to submit a blog to the Google search engine. Back then it was known as Google Webmaster Tools. Recently, Google changed its link to Google Search Console. Google has made various changes, additions, and deletions to the tools, including its graphics, along with name and link changes. Moreover, in the last three years, Google has changed these tools a lot, so from our previous post, many people are having trouble submitting their sites to Google search engines. That’s why we decided to share a new post on this topic without editing the previous post so that everyone can easily submit their blog to the Google search engine.
What and why to use Google WEBMASTER TOOLS?
Google Search Console is a free service of Google company, through which you can monitor and maintain your blog. You don’t need to sign up anywhere to get your blog included in the Google search engine. However, you must sign up for Google Search Console to know whether each page of the blog is included in the search results of the Google search engine and whether the Google robot is indexing your blog posts in time.
What and why to use Google Webmaster Tools?
In each place above I wrote Google Search Console instead of Google Webmaster Tools. You may be wondering why I used the word Google Search Console. Because instead of keeping their search sections separate, Google now calls them all together as Google Search Console. Moreover, Google is now writing as Google Search Console instead of Webmaster Tools.
The question may arise in many people’s minds that if Google automatically brings any blog or website to the search results without submitting them to the search engine, what is the need for it? In fact, Google Search Console does more than just bring any content to search results, it does much more than that. Let me give you some important topics in brief why it is needed.
Why use it?
New blog content to be indexed faster.
For content indexing country-wise or language-wise.
To give Google robots an idea about the subject matter of the blog.

As technology is improving with time, the competition to stay in the field with technology has increased more than that. Today, the number of websites that were online three years ago has increased tenfold. Because of that, many web developers are forced to close websites or blogs without getting traffic from Google’s search engine. For this reason, in order to prove yourself successful in online competition, you have to adopt all methods of search engine optimization.
Generally, when a businessman starts a new business, he makes his company known to the customers through various advertisements and promotions. In the case of a website or a blog, the site must be submitted to the Google Search Console to introduce it to the Google search engine. Google Search Console is one of Google’s own tools. First, log in to your Google account.
Then click on the official link of Google Search Console.
After clicking on this link you will see the image below.

If you put the URL of your blog in the area indicated by the arrow in the above image and click on the Continue button, you will see the following image.

If you click on the Settings option from the Google Search Console dashboard, you will see the following image.

If you click on Ownership Verification in the above image, you will see the following options. If you scroll down with the help of the mouse, you will see the image below.

Clicking on the small icon marked with an arrow on the right side of the HTML Tag in the above image will show the following image.
Here you need to copy the HTML Meta Tag of the above image and add it to your blogger template.
To add this code, click Theme > Edit HTML from your blog’s dashboard.
Then search the <head> section by pressing Ctrl+F from the computer keyboard.
Now save the template by adding the codes in the above image below the <head> tag of your blog/website.
After that, if you click on the Verify button marked with an arrow in the above image, the following image will show.

If you click on the Done option in the above image, you will see the search console dashboard.
Then on the left side of the dashboard, you will see the following options.

Clicking on the Sitemaps option in the above image will show the below image on the right side.

Here you have to give the XML sitemap URL of your blog. Follow the diagram below to do this.

After writing sitemap.xml in the empty space after the link of your blog in the above image and clicking on the blue submit button on the right side, your blog will show the message that it has been successfully submitted to the Google search engine. It should be noted that if you want to submit your blog pages to the search engine, the pages will be submitted only if you write sitemap-pages.xml in the same place as in the above image.
