On March 16, 2017, he was called up to the senior team for the first time, to play the dates corresponding to the European qualifier for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. On March 25th of that year, Mbappé made his debut with the senior team, where France’s team beat Luxembourg 3-0, August 31. Mbappé managed to score his first goal with France’s 4-0 victory against the Netherlands.
